Colorado Underdogs Against Free Falling Ducks

There was a time when the Oregon Ducks would have been an easy pick to defeat straight up and cover the spread against Colorado, but the mighty have since fallen.

The Ducks are still -7.5 favorites against Colorado, however with star receiver Bryron Marshall out indefinitely and the question mark surrounding who is the Ducks starting quarterback (a problem coming courtsey of Marcus Mariota’s move to the NFL) and we have a team that cannot get it together offensively.

Defensively, the Ducks are also struggling. They have given up over 40 points a game since the start of the season. They are allowing 6.1 yards per play. In other words, the time is right for the Ducks reign at the top of the PAC 12 to come to an end.

It will not be likely that Colorado is the team to take the spot atop the PAC 12, but they are a solid team that has shown improvement over the last couple years. The Buffaloes opened the season with a loss but have since won three straight games. They have a run-first offense that seems to be working for them and one that the Ducks should have trouble slowing down.

The game’s total is set at 69.5 points. With both teams not playing the best defense this could very well be a high-scoring contest that sends OVER bettors to the window.

This is a late night game starting at 10 p.m. ET.
