The NBA MVP race came down to the wire this past season with superstars Stephen Curry and James Harden seemingly neck-and-neck in the running for the regular-season award. Although a strong case could be made for both guards, Curry eventually came out on top and ultimately went on to win his first NBA title with the Golden State Warriors.

Months after Curry was officially named NBA MVP, Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey still isn’t happy about the results of the voting. Morey believes Harden was clearly the MVP and posted the following tweet on his Twitter account to show he’s still upset about the end result:

The city of Temecula sign in Morey’s tweet refers to a heated debate on Twitter between some fans about Kobe Bryant back in December. One fan threatened to meet the other in Temecula to straighten things out face-to-face and as a result Twitter exploded with everyone talking about the ordeal.

Morey’s urge to tweet about Harden likely was the result of the Rockets star earning MVP honors in the voting by NBA players, according to the Houston Chronicle. Harden beat out Curry, LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook in the voting among players in the first annual The Players Awards which will air on BET on Tuesday night.
