Updated 2016-17 NBA MVP Odds

Bovada and other betting sites have released betting odds for the NBA MVP odds for the 2016-17 season.

James, Westbrook Top NBA MVP Odds

Last season’s NBA Finals MVP, LeBron James, is on top of the odds with 3/1. Last season, James earned the NBA Finals MVP award by essentially carrying the Cleveland Cavs to the NBA Finals and then leading his team to a 3-1 comeback victory against the Golden State Warriors. The season MVP award eluded him however.

The player with the next best odds is a bit of a surprise in Russell Westbrook. Now that he is a one-man show in OKC the books are predicting a big season.

Last season’s MVP Stephen Curry has the third best odds, while his new team mate, Kevin Durant, is right behind him in the NBA MVP odds with 8/1.
