Auburn Heads To Georgia

Auburn and Georgia may not be one of the four teams to get a coveted playoff spot in the NCAA Tournament but that is not going to stop either one of these teams from fighting for pride and positioning in the SEC standings.

Auburn is coming off a huge upset loss to Texas A&M, 41-38. They were 23.5-favorites to win.

The Bulldogs will be welcoming back Todd Gurley who is coming off a four-game suspension. Gurley could not come back at a better time. The Bulldogs are still in the run for the SEC East title. Gurly rushed for 773 yards and found pay dirt eight times in the first five games of the season before his suspension. He will give the Bulldogs a much needed improvement on the ground.

Auburn are long shots for an SEC West title. They are tied with Ole Miss and behind Mississippi State and Alabama. Auburn simply wants to put last week behind them and stay in the hunt the best they can. However, they will be without leading receiver Duke Williams who is likely to be out with an injury.

The Bulldogs are -1.5-point favorites.

Auburn is 3-0 against the spread in its last three road games as underdogs. They are also 5-1 against the spread in their last six road games against SEC rivals. In their last eight games against Georgia, Auburn has only covered the spread twice.

The total is set at 72 points. Auburn has hit the over for four straight games as road underdogs. The over is 5-2 over Auburn’s last seven games against SEC opponents.

Georgia’s betting trends also favor the over. They are 6-0 on the over in their last six home games against SEC rivals.

The game starts at 7:15 p.m. ET.
