One of the most anticipated matchups of Week 8 will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The struggling Dallas Cowboys will be playing host to the defending NFC champion Seattle Seahawks with Dez Bryant and Marshawn Lynch currently possibly stuck watching on the sidelines due to injury.

Bryant has missed five of the last six games for the Cowboys and the results of those games have not been in the team’s favor. Dallas has lost four of the five games missed by Bryant, but it appears they may get their star wide receiver back on the field in Week 8.

The All-Pro wideout has been practicing with the team this week leading many to believe he’ll be ready to go on Sunday against the Seahawks. Although Seattle is in a better position to win this game, Lynch may be forced to sit out with a persistent hamstring issue.

As of right now, the Seahawks are favored to win on the road with a -6.5 point spread, according to Sportsbook.ag. The official playing status of Lynch and Bryant will almost certainly change the spread leading up to game time on Sunday.

Without quarterback Tony Romo under center and Bryant downfield, the Cowboys aren’t even close to the same team with Super Bowl aspirations. Fortunately for Dallas, the Seahawks haven’t been the same dominant defensive force we’ve seen over the past two seasons. Seattle has really struggled to get on track this year even with the addition of All-Pro tight end Jimmy Graham.

The current spread of -6.5 and will likely decrease if Lynch is out and Bryant is active. Dallas should make it more of a game with +6.5 being the safer bet.
