The Golden State Warriors were able to come out on top in the NBA once again last season with Kevin Durant and company making easy work of LeBron James’ Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals.

With the 2017-18 NBA season set to get underway on Tuesday, the Warriors are favored to win it all for the second year in a row, according to David Purdum of ESPN.

For the second straight year, the Golden State Warriors begin the season as odds-on favorites to win the NBA championship.

Golden State brings back relatively their same roster with Durant and Stephen Curry leading the way. The Warriors are considered to be far and away the best all-around squad in the league with only a devastating injury potentially derailing their campaign to win a second straight title.

The Warriors’ odds to win it all are as follows, via Purdum.

This year’s Warriors are around -240 favorites to win their third title in four years.

The Cavs, however, are next in line with 4-1 odds to win it all. Unlike the Warriors, the Cavs have gone through some changes during the NBA offseason with the team trading Kyrie Irving to the Boston Celtics in exchange for Isaiah Thomas.

Despite Irving heading to Boston, the Cavs brought in veteran guards Derrick Rose and Dwyane Wade to help fill the void. Thomas likely won’t the see the floor for Cleveland until January.
