The AFC Championship Game rematch between the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts was better than expected. After missing two straight games with a shoulder injury, quarterback Andrew Luck was back under center and playing like the Pro Bowler of old, but it still wasn’t enough to get the best of Tom Brady and company at Lucas Oil Stadium.

With the Patriots improving their flawless record to 5-0, New England will turn their attention to a bitter division rival in the form of the New York Jets in Week 7. The annual battles between these two teams is always must-see TV with neither team backing down an inch, but this season is even more compelling with the Jets being legitimate threats to win the AFC East division title.

Coming into this matchup, the Jets have lost only one game on the season and appear to have arguably the best defense in the NFL led by former Patriots Darrelle Revis. Although Rex Ryan is no longer calling the shots on the sidelines at MetLife Stadium, New York is cruising in the first half of the 2015 NFL campaign and will be hoping to pull off a major upset in Week 7 which could change the playoff picture in the AFC.

According to Sportsbook.ag, the Patriots are heavily favored to come out on top in this matchup between division rivals. Bill Belichick’s squad is sporting a -9 point spread after taking down the Colts on Sunday night in Indianapolis.

As of right now, it is safe to assume the Patriots will get their sixth win of the season at the hands of their division rivals. New England is arguably the best team in the league with an offense that has yet to face a true challenge, but the Jets will be waiting with a stout defense looking to send shockwaves throughout the league to prove New York is for real this season.
