NFL odds, Week 11: Final lines

Let’s look at the NFL Week 11 lines and make some comments with a few quick thoughts mixed in…

Arizona Cardinals at Minnesota Vikings (-2.5)

The Vikings and Cardinals both need this game. Unfortunately, they are wildly inconsistent and neither can be trusted. If you must, take the points and the home team.

Chicago Bears at New York Giants (-7)

New York should absolutely plaster the Bears, who at 2-7 are looking for a top-3 pick. However, the Giants have played a slew of close games. Look for the back-door cover.

Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts (-2.5)

This is going to be insane. Two teams that can’t be trusted, although Tennessee is looking better these days. Still, Andrew Luck at home against secondary? Take Indianapolis.

Pittsburgh Steelers (-8) at Cleveland Browns

If the Steelers can’t win and cover this spread, they should quit. Pittsburgh is 4-5 and absolutely has to win. The Browns are 0-10 and CRUISING to a winless campaign.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Kansas City Chiefs (-7)

Kansas City is dealing with all kinds of injuries, ranging from Jamaal Charles and Jeremy Maclin to Jaye Howard and Phillip Gaines. Still, the Chiefs are great at home. Tampa Bay might cover here, though, due to all the aforementioned ailments.

Buffalo Bills at Cincinnati Bengals (-2.5)

Both of these teams are probably going to miss the playoffs, which is unheard of for one and common for the other. Cincinnati has an outside shot at winning the North, however, so look for the Bengals to fight hard this weekend.

Baltimore Ravens at Dallas Cowboys (-7)

The Cowboys are the much better team and are at home. In addition, the Ravens have absolutely no offense. Dallas will take a lead, run the ball and kill the clock. Swallow the points.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Detroit Lions (-6)

The Lions are going to hammer the Jaguars. Jacksonville is terrible and Detroit is trying to stay on top of the NFC North. This line should be twice as high.

Miami Dolphins (-2) at Los Angeles Rams

Jared Goff is making his first start against a very hot team. Look for the Dolphins to keep rolling in Los Angeles.

New England Patriots (-11.5) at San Francisco 49ers

Anybody who would bet on the 49ers to cover this spread, however large, is a very brave soul.

Philadelphia Eagles at Seattle Seahawks (-6.5)

Seattle has the perfect way to stop the Eagles. Force a rookie quarterback to throw the ball against Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor in front of deafening noise.

Green Bay Packers at Washington Redskins (-2.5)

The Redskins are at home, the better team, and not actively trying to get their coach fired. This should be a win for Washington.

Houston Texans at Oakland Raiders (-5.5)

Derek Carr vs. Brock Osweiler. Taking Houston? Hope that Mexico is the kryptonite for the Raiders.
