Final Stanley Cup Futures: Final 16 Teams

Its finally time, the teams have been narrowed down to 16 and today the NHL playoffs will begin and bettors are running out of time to put money on the Stanley Cup futures.

There are three games scheduled for today (Red Wings Vs. Lightning, Rangers Vs. Penguins and Blackhawks Vs. Blues). Once the first of those games begins, sports books will begin to shut down the Stanley Cup futures betting. In other words, your on a deadline bettors.

The Capitals sit atop the odds at 4-1. They are also the only Eastern Conference team with odds better than 10-1. This means they are heavily favored to be the team from the East to vie for the Stanley Cup in the finals.
