To nobody’s surprise, Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was named the Rookie of the Year by the Pro Football Writers Association for the 2016 NFL season.

He was also the Offensive Rookie of the Year, while San Diego Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa claimed Defensive Rookie of the Year honors.

Here is a look at the way things shook out for every position around the league.

Elliott had an epic rookie season running and catching the ball for the Cowboys. He finished with 1,631 rushing yards, 15 rushing touchdowns, 363 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown on a ridiculous 83-yard screen pass early in the season.

He also had a big game Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, rushing for 125 yards in the team’s heartbreaking loss.

Bosa was no less impressive on the defensive side, especially considering he missed the first four games of the season after an extended contract impasse with the Chargers during training camp. The Ohio State product finished with 10.5 sacks and finished as Pro Football Focus’ fifth-ranked edge rusher for the season.

Both young players have promising careers in the NFL and appear to be just scratching the surface of their potential.
