Suddenly, The Mariners Are MLB’s Hottest Team

The MLB’s hottest team is not the squad you’d expect. However, after a lot of ups and downs, are pulling it together when it matters most.

The Seattle Mariners have won their last eight games and pulled back into the AL Wild Card race. They are coming off of sweeps of both the Oakland As and the Los Angeles Angels. With those sweeps, they have moved to only two games behind an AL Wild Card spot currently held by Baltimore.

It has been Seattle’s pitching staff that has stepped up to allow two runs or less in their streak and with each starting pitcher turning in quality starts, throwing until at least the sixth inning.

The MLB’s hottest team will host the Houston Astros tonight. A team that is struggling and will likely continue to do so against a Mariners’ club that have won their last six home openers. They will be sending ace Felix Hernandez to the mound to pitch against Houston.

Mariners are the favorites in this game with a -160 moneyline. The monelyine to bet on Houston is set at +130.
