Super Bowl Odds Ahead Of Preseason Week 3

Tonight Week 3 of the preseason kicks off. Many call Week 3 “dress rehearsal” for the NFL season with many starters actually starting. Ahead of these games let’s take a look at the Super Bowl odds.

It is always said that preseason games do not really matter, and as far as the Super Bowl futures are concerned that is correct.

The biggest drop in the NFL future odds over the last few months came way back in April when a higher court ruled that Tom Brady must serve a four-game suspension for his role in the Deflategate saga that seems never ending. Online sports books and brick and mortar Vegas books have adjusted the NFL futures accordingly.

The Pats Super Bowl odds dropped from 6-1 to 8-1. This puts them as co-favorites to win it all along with Seattle. However, they are set back as +600 favorites, firmly on top of the odds. The Packers have over taken the Seahwks as Super Bowl favorites runner-ups. The Seahawks are in third but have a moneyline over +1000.
