Swarm of bees seriously disrupts Dolphins minicamp

In the early 1980’s, the Miami Dolphins defense was known as the “Killer B’s.” On Wednesday, Miami’s practice was interrupted by bees of a different sort.

According to Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald, a swarm of bees made its presence felt during the team’s minicamp.

As if football wasn’t dangerous enough.

Fortunately, according to the report from Beasley, head coach Adam Gase “didn’t believe any of his players were stung.” Ndamukong Suh made his feelings known, as well.

“I’m not a fan of bees,” Suh said per Beasley. “I’ve been around yellow jackets in Jamaica and all that stuff, so I’m not too scared of them, but yeah, I’d rather not be stung if I don’t have to be.”

Indeed, practicing with a swarm of bees nearby can’t exactly be a lot of fun. For the sake of the Dolphins, we can only hope that the issue is resolved before their next practice.
