Von Miller Is Confident Broncos Can Win A Super Bowl With Peyton Manning

Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos have a couple of burn burners left on the schedule.

After signing with the Denver Broncos back in 2012, it was uncertain whether superstar quarterback Peyton Manning had anything left in the tank following multiple career-threatening surgeries on his neck. Manning secured a lucrative five-year deal with the Broncos with a few conditions that he pass physicals on an annual basis.

Fortunately for Manning, the veteran quarterback has been able to stay healthy during his time in Denver and as a result has extended his career a little longer. Despite continuing to play at a high level while remaining healthy, Manning has been able to win that elusive second Super Bowl title.

Although many have begun to dub Manning simply an elite regular-season quarterback after two early playoff exits and a blowout in the Super Bowl against the Seattle Seahawks, Broncos teammate Von Miller is confident Denver can win a title with Manning under center. Miller appeared on SiriusXM NFL Radio recently and gave Manning a vote of confidence via Pro Football Talk:

“We can win a Super Bowl with Peyton,” Miller said. “I think that’s the only thing that matters. To win a Super Bowl we need Peyton Manning and I think that he’s going to be able to play at a high level. It’s Peyton Manning. Whatever it is he needs to do, he’s going to do it. That’s one position that I’m just not worried about.”

Heading into a fourth season in Denver, Manning still has a shot of winning another ring. The Broncos may have lost a few targets for Manning with Julius Thomas going to the Jacksonville Jaguars and Wes Welker likely headed elsewhere, but Denver will still be a force to be reckoned with.

As of right now, the Broncos have 15 to 1 odds to win Super Bowl 50, according to Sportsbook.ag. Only four teams have better odds with the Seahawks (6/1), Green Bay Packers (15/2), New England Patriots (8/1) and Indianapolis Colts (17/2) sitting ahead of the Broncos. The Dallas Cowboys (15/1) have the same odds as the Broncos.
