Terrelle Pryor Called Antonio Brown After Switching To Wide Receiver

What is this, free advice week in the AFC North? In the same week that Cincinnati Bengals’ defensive coordinator Paul Guenther offered up some choice words for the Cleveland Browns and their mishandling of Johnny Manziel, it has been revealed that the newest Brown, Terrelle Pryor, ironically called Pittsburgh Steeler Antonio Brown for advice upon his switch from signal caller to pass catcher.

Making an NFL roster mere months after a drastic position change won’t be easy, but Pryor certainly has the speed, elusiveness and athletic ability to pull it off. Now, it appears he’s seeking help from some of the game’s greats – both past and present – to achieve his goal.

Pryor will train with Brown and retired legend Randy Moss over what’s left of this offseason in a bid to make the final roster. With only a month before training camp, the former Buckeye and Oakland Raider will have a lot to improve, particularly in the mental department, if he plans on having a fighting chance.

It may not be the deepest receiving corps in the league, especially without troubled talent Josh Gordon, but Pryor would presumably have to beat out one of the four most likely starters – Andrew Hawkins, Dwayne Bowe, Brian Hartline or Travis Benjamin – in order to see any significant playing time. No mean feat, but don’t let it be said that Pryor isn’t doing all he can.
